Philip has extensive transactional & management experience across the African continent.  He is a Partner of Nigeria’s and Sub-Saharan Africa’s #1 investment banking & trading firm, Chapel Hill Denham.  At Chapel Hill Denham, Philip has an asset management business with assets in local currency (LCY) & USD across the African continent.  He has relationships at a senior level in Government, with major international & domestic investors, with the development bank community & with major international & domestic corporates across the continent.  Philip has experience globally & has transacted more than $100 billion of advisory and capital markets deals.  For example, he assisted the Indonesian Central Bank during the Asian Financial Crisis in creating IBRA to restructure the banking sector and in the creation of Bank Mandiri.  He was appointed restructuring advisor to Dubai World in 2008, listed Halifax in the UK in 1997, AMP in Australia in 1998, China Life in 2003, DP World in 2007, USAID Tunisia bond in 2012, MTN Nigeria in 2019.

Philip is Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales, graduated from Durham University & Eton College.  He is married & has four children & lives between London, Lagos & Dubai.
