Ignacio Miró is a financial sector development consultant for FSD Africa, GIZ, and for the World Bank. Previously, Ignacio worked at FDN, Colombia’s infrastructure development bank globally recognized for its successful design and implementation of innovative catalytic products. At FDN, Ignacio worked as President’s staff since the inception of the institution dedicated to the drafting of its business plan, supporting the capitalization made by IFC and CAF (a regional development bank) and in establishing the research department. Before then, he worked for several financial institutions in Colombia, Mexico and the United States with other experiences in Argentina and Japan. Additionally, is currently working on a diagnostics study in Ghana and has participated in a Capital markets Indaba in Zambia. Ignacio holds a Master of International affairs from Columbia University in the City of New York and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in Argentina.
